This is so abstruse I would be laughing my ass off if this stuff wouldn’t be putting lives at risk.

There is this device called ADE-651, costs ten-thousands of dollars, doesn’t need a power supply (fuels from user-electrostatic energy^^) and uses smartcards to “tune in” on special things. This device is not only able to detect explosives – it can also find elephants – WTF. Here’s the link to the full article:
